Scientific name: Maranta leucomeura

The maranta (street name: prayer plant) has leaves that move throughout the day, folding up in the evening as in 'prayer'. While this plant can adapt to lower light conditions, they thrive in a bright, indirect light conditions and humid environment. 

This plant comes potted in a black & white dotted pedastal pot with mini saucer.

Care tips: 

-Ideal light: Bright, indirect light.

-Watering: Allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out before watering, once a week.

-Extra tip: This plant will benefit from misting around the leaves for added humidity.
