Morisot Vase

Inspired by one of the foremost female Impressionists of the 19th century, Berthe Morisot, this palette draws on the sensitive brushstrokes, light-filled colors, and advanced draftsmanship that epitomized her paintings. Morisot is best known for her depictions of  domestic life and outdoor garden scenes, providing an uniquely intimate view of the everyday lives of women and children. Her distinct style of loose, fluid brushstrokes paired with her proclivity for lighter colors, gives her paintings a sense of luminosity, movement, and whimsy. We designed this arrangement with these qualities in mind, capturing the soft radiance, painterly textures, and poetic forms found in the natural world.
